Trucks Through the Ages

A Truck Museum

Picture book 28 pages Hardcover

A pint-sized gallery tour through ten thousand years of trucks — if you squint. Each spread reimagines a working vehicle in the style of a different artistic era, from a cave-painted monster-truck to a Pop Art crane, with a dump truck carved for an Egyptian pharaoh somewhere in between.

It's art history for readers who mostly want to look at trucks, and a truck book for readers who are about to discover art history by accident.

A small press, newly planted.

Rose City Publishing House is an independent children's press devoted to picture books that are strange, handsome, and a little smarter than they need to be. We believe a toddler's bookshelf should be a serious collection — not a plastic one.

Our books are printed on good paper, bound to be chewed on, and written to be read aloud a hundred times without anyone losing heart.
